Water baptism is an outward demonstration and celebration of your inward decision to turn away from sin and trust Christ with your eternity. It is an act of obedience and a step of acknowledgment, representing the fact that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the grave, allowing each of us to be made righteous and receive eternal life.
