RE-OPENING PLANS

 

Starting Sunday, July 25th you no longer need to register online to attend a service at IEC.
However, if your answer is YES to any of the following 4 questions or if you are experiencing any of the symptoms listed below, we recommend that you consider staying home and experience the service online.

1. Are you experiencing any symptoms?
Examples of symptoms include the new onset of:
a new or worsening cough
shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
temperature equal to or over 38°C
feeling feverish
chills
fatigue or weakness
muscle or body aches
headache
new loss of smell or taste
gastrointestinal symptoms (abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting)
feeling very unwell

2.
Has anyone in your household experienced any symptoms in the past 14 days? (Note: if the symptomatic person in your household has received a negative COVID-19 test result, you can attend a service.)

3. In the past 14 days, have you been identified as a close contact of someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19?

4. Have you travelled outside Canada in the past 14 days or been in contact with anyone who has travelled outside Canada in the past 14 days?

UPON ARRIVAL
  • You will be escorted to and from your seat by a usher.
  • You will be seated following social distancing protocols.
  • After the service you will be escorted from the sanctuary by an usher.
  • You are still required to wear a mask and you will be provided with hand sanitizer as you enter the building.
THERE WILL BE:
  • No access to the basement
  • No children’s program, childcare or youth. If in attendance they will be required to sit with family in the sanctuary
  • There will be no bus service
IEC CHURCH ONLINE
We will continue to live stream the service at IEC Family Online Church for those who would rather stay home at this time. You can listen, chat and request prayer. You can also watch the live service directly through our Youtube Channel.
